SUPT5H cDNA ORF Neucleotide Sequence and Amino Acid Sequence Information
**Sino Biological guarantees 100% sequence accuracy of all synthetic DNA constructs we deliver, but we do not guarantee protein expression in your experimental system. Protein expression is influenced by many factors that may vary between experiments or laboratories.**
SUPT5H, a suppressor of Ty homolog-5 (SPT5), was identified as a novel tumor-specific hTERT promoter-binding protein and activator in colon cancer cells. The N terminus of SUPT5H is highly acidic, while the C terminus contains 7 mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase consensus sequences. SUPT5H is an evolutionarily conserved component of the DRB sensitivity-inducing factor complex that regulates RNA Polymerase II dependent mRNA processing and transcription elongation. SUPT5H may potentially be used as a novel tumor biomarker and/or cancer therapeutic target.
